Where can I get a student loan as a U.S. citizen to study at Umea University in Sweden?
Where can I get a student loan as a U.S. citizen to study at Umea University in Sweden?
I'm planning on attending Umea Institute of Design (Part of Umea University) in Umea, Sweden this coming fall. I've noticed that Umea isn't on the FASFA list of approved schools...am I out of luck or is there a bank that will give me a student loan?

Look at their website for the Internation student financial aid forms they accept. If you have good credit, most banks will allow you to take out a loan, regardless of where you attend school.

As an American, Can I attend a University in Sweden as a transfer student from the community collage system?
Also, any and all information you know can help. Or other countries like Belgium, Germany, or the Ntherlands. I speak fluent German, Swedish, and Spanish.

Wow you can speak German, Spanish and Swedish and you can't spell college, or Netherlands. Ich hoffe, dass Sie Ihr Deutsch ist so gut wie ihre schriftliche Englisch auf Dies ist?

No, not in Community college. You can't transfer if you are in a government run college or a community college.

would I need a Visa to go to Sweden for 6 days? I have a Student UK Visa but I have Sri Lankan Passport?
would I need a Visa to go to Sweden for 6 days? I have a Student UK Visa but I have Sri Lankan Passport?
Im a Student Living in the UK and I want to go to Sweden for 6 days for a Little Holiday, I have Student A UK Student Visa .. Would I still require Visa to enter Sweden since I have a Sri Lankan Passport ?

Sweden tourist visa is required for citizens of Sri Lanka.

The United Kingdom does not participate in the travel part of the Schengen agreement. UK visa do not exempt from the visa requirement of Sri Lankan passport holders for Sweden. You will need to apply for a visa which will take at least two weeks since the other Schengen member countries need to be consulted prior to a visa issue, based on your nationality. I want help from Swedish halmstad student to guide me in this concern for cheap accommodation and transport system and I don’t know about Swedish system. Please someone keep me as a paying guest in your residence. I ‘m very independent person no body disturb from me

There are many people/families who are happy to offer accommodation and meals to a foreign student for payment. The University should have a list of people who do this. Email them and ask them to send you a list of the people who are looking for foreign students and then you could email them direct.
