All the information you need is on the official site for higher education in Sweden: https://www.studera.nu/studera/241.html Applications to all Swedish universities are sent to the same place so it will take as long to get an answer no matter where you apply. Some universities may be more efficient in their communication after you have applied though of course.

I am prabaharan from india.i have to travel sweden for doing my higher education,i like to travel in british airways.i m going in student visa,did i need a transit visa for passing london.......

Should you hve been awarded a long stay type D visa for Sweden you will not need a Direct Airside Transit Visa for the United Kingdom. Sweden is a country of the European Economic Area (EEA). Holders of long stay visa of a EEA country can travel via the United Kingdom without the need of a Direct Airside Transit Visa. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/doineedvisa/visadatvnationals .. [read para 6. of the visa exemptions] http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/resources/en/docs/1903073/vaf5 .. [read that Sweden is a EEA contry] To travel without a visa you need to show that you: • have booked an onward ticket from the UK for travel within 24 hours of your arrival • will not need to change airport in the UK • have all the correct documents you will need to be allowed to enter the country you are travelling to • have your luggage checked-through to your final destination • will not need to pass through the UK's immigration control

welcome a sweden foregin exchange student?
I'm only tutoring this boy a few hrs a week,but am excited to learn a new culture. Does anyone know anything about sweden,phrases (friendly only plz), and ideas of what children/teens like to do. This is my first tutoring experience and I want to really be his friend also.

Here is a great website for leaning about sweden, they love music and play a sport something like our baseball but I don't know how you pronounce it, your friend will know, I think it is really good what you are doing and I wish you great success.

Exchange Student Programs for Finland or Sweden?
I want to go to Finland, Sweden or Russia in 2011 so I need to apply soon which programs have the most scholarships and support for students going to these countries? Also my mom doesn't want me to go because of the money how do I convince her?

The best two programs are AFS and YFU. Both offer scholarships and help with fundraising ideas and opportunities.
