All the information you need is on the official site for higher education in Sweden: https://www.studera.nu/studera/241.html Applications to all Swedish universities are sent to the same place so it will take as long to get an answer no matter where you apply. Some universities may be more efficient in their communication after you have applied though of course.

Should you hve been awarded a long stay type D visa for Sweden you will not need a Direct Airside Transit Visa for the United Kingdom. Sweden is a country of the European Economic Area (EEA). Holders of long stay visa of a EEA country can travel via the United Kingdom without the need of a Direct Airside Transit Visa. http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/doineedvisa/visadatvnationals .. I'm only tutoring this boy a few hrs a week,but am excited to learn a new culture. Does anyone know anything about sweden,phrases (friendly only plz), and ideas of what children/teens like to do. This is my first tutoring experience and I want to really be his friend also.

I want to go to Finland, Sweden or Russia in 2011 so I need to apply soon which programs have the most scholarships and support for students going to these countries? Also my mom doesn't want me to go because of the money how do I convince her?

The best two programs are AFS and YFU. Both offer scholarships and help with fundraising ideas and opportunities. I have a part time job that can be done from anywhere (just needs internet) earning around 400-500e. I certainly can't have fun, no travels no shopping etc. is that enough to live there? thanks for your assistance.

All universities and colleges demands proof that you can afford living here. That costs 10600 USD annually at today's rates. That is considered to be enough.
