What do I consider if I want to be a foreign exchange student in sweden?
I wanted to do a foreign exchange student program in sweden, but is it possible to just do a program for the summer? I was thinking for the summer after I graduated high school that I would want to go to sweden and do the whole foreign exchange student thing. Would I be to old to go?

now you haven't really given up your age but i doubt that you would be to old. in Most exchange programs you can be between 15-20 years. It would be alot better for you if you could do the whole year, because most people just feel like it goes way to quick after a whole 1 year, so when your there you probably wouldn't feel like its enough and maybe regret not going for a whole year ( ofc if you have no choice half a year is also awesome, there are a few people who find that a year is to much (. Now regarding the program i personly would recommend AFS as the greatest one, mainly because unlike alot of the other big programs doesn't give money to the host family so you wont live in a family who just took you for the money + theres alot of other small things. Now about sweden then it really is alot better to go in the winter, its just plain borring in the summer ( atleast in my opinion, probably because i love snow ) Now i higly reccomend doing alot more research about the subject. A exchange year ( or half year :) Maybe try checking out the homepage of AFS and google some other ones. Either way i would say its a awesome experience and i would say that you totally should go for it, i my self wouldnt give up my experince as a exchange student for anything. and sry for the misspellings english is not my native languance
