If I have been in Sweden with a student visa for the fall and went home to visit may i return as a tourist?
I am waiting for my visa to be renewed, but since I have dropped out of my school for the year, I wanted to travel in Europe as a tourist even if my visa is not renewed, including countries such as the nordic group, france, germany and italy.

You can return as tourist using a U.S. passport and stay for up to 90 days in the countries of the Schengen zone.
