Is it possible to prologate residence permit of elemementry school student after expiration of his permit?
An elementry school student settled into Sweden for one year with temporary resident permit. He has been assigned a social security number in order to register at school. Can he then claim for prologation of his permit to continue his studies next year? A 13-year old student who is a non-EU citizen settled into Sweden for one year with temporary resident permit. He has been assigned a personnummer in order to register at school. Can his parents then claim for prologation of his permit to continue studies next year? Is there any EU regulation granting him resident permit in order to study? (based on the fact study is one's right (?) )

which country is the student from ? not sure how old he is ? please give details ....... if his permit is already expired ? please let it know so i can do research as well .. i suppose his time is not expired ? or is it ? i will come back to check and see if you gave more details ....

A swedish personnummer is not the same thing as a social security number, and being issued one doesn't really have much to do with residence status. You should be asking these questions at migrationsverket, they are the only ones who can answer you.There are many reasons they will extend a residence visa. Being in school and having a personnummer are unlikely to be enough on their own though.

How do I apply for college in Sweden?
I'm an American student with middling grades (85ish average) in 11th grade. Took the SATs, got a 2100, so there are actually two parts to my question, will a university in Sweden accept me? How do I apply if they do?

I don't think Sweden colleges accept because SAT is only usually use by US. have your try to check the website for the Universities? You will know by going to their website

I don't know that you'll find someone on Yahoo Answers that works for admissions in a College/University in Sweden, you'll have to do the next best thing! The SAT/ACTs are generally only recognized in the US or North America. Just like any school here, in the US, you need to read their policies and requirements! You'll actually have to contact them. How's your Swedish? Even if you speak to someone who speaks English, there may still be a language barrier! You also have to apply for a Visa.

Can i apply for a visa to USA on Pakistan passport from Sweden?
I wanted to know that im here on a student visa which is for 10 months and expires on May 31st 2010. My father is doctor in USA and he has applied for my green card which is under process. He wants to me visit him for some time so i wanted to know can a person on Pakistani passport with his green card in process apply for a visit visa in USA from Sweden?? Is there any rule that prevents me in doing so. Waiting for ure replies.

There are no rules which prevent a non-US citizen to apply for a visa from any U.S. Embassy or Consulate on earth. However each visa applicant needs to provide proof that s/he does not intent to immigrate to the United States. A U.S. consular officer based in Sweden can determine the ties of a Swedish citizen to his/her country but s/he cannot determine the ties of a student to Pakistan and therefore will most likely refuse a visa issue..

You make a list of NGOs in Sweden focused on other countries. You know how to use the Internet, so I'm sure you can make such a list. You visit the web site of each and you write an email that says you are a student at whatever university and looking for an unpaid or paid internship of a specific length -- 3 months, six months, whatever.
