can a person with student visa studying in sweden enter schengen states?
i have an admission letter for master in medical molecular biology in orebro university of sweden.now i want to proceed for visa for the sweden actually. i,m very found of visiting historical places and schengen countries have a lot of tourist places . my question is that all the student from all the countries having student visa can enter the schengen states from sweden

For long term studies to exceed three month you will have to apply for a Swedish residence permit (UppehĂ¥llstillstĂ¥nd) which also serves as visa waiver for the other Schengen countries for a stay of up to 90 days within each 6 months. Hi, Having student visa for Sweden does not necessarily mean that you need or need not another visa to enter other countries in Europe. It depends on limitations for your student visa, on your nationality, etc. To answer your question, take a look here at page called WHO NEEDS SCHENGEN VISA (http://www.euro-dollar-currency.com/who_needs_schengen_visa.htm).
