Can i apply for student visa from Sweden. I am a Pakistani National.?
First of all i would like to give you a brief background before i highlight the inquiry. I am an Engineering Graduate and i have been looking to pursue for higher education. I have applied at various institutions around the world but my major preference is to do my Masters from the United states of America. I have currently applied in 3 universities in USA and awaiting their response somewhere around late September. I have currently been selected at Royal Institute of Technology at Stockholm, Sweden and for that, i have sent my Passport to obtain student visa from Sweden. After receiving the student Visa, i am looking forward to leave for Sweden in early August 2009. Inquiry: The question that i want to ask from your team is that, if i get selected in USA, what will be the line of action for me. Can i apply for Student Visa for USA whilst i am staying in Sweden, Or do i have to be present in Pakistan? Can i apply from American Embassy in Sweden with the same passport if i get selected in an american university? As mentioned earlier, i consider experience in USA more valuable as it is an English speaking country. Please provide me a speedy response with detailed information related to my query.
