I have heard that when one applies for student visa,he has to take residence permit stamp on passport. 2nd step is to take work permit 3rd step is to live 5 years in sweden and Then apply for citizenship. I am a non-EU student. Please tell me these steps are correct or is there any problem with my information Your help will be appreciated REGARDS

Yes that's probably what you'll have to do. If it wasn't because you were studying though I'd recommend getting a work permit first though, put that's not relevant anymore. You should know however that foreigners usually have difficulties in the job market. Language and mentality are very important factors. Education comes before experience as long as you have at least some experience. The mentality thing is difficult to explain but I can if you want. Ask if there's anything else.

A holder of a residence permit for studies does not need a separate work permit. You have to live in Sweden for five years on a permanent residence permit to be eligible for citizenship. Foreign students are rarely if ever issued permanent residence permits. The time as a student will not count towards a Swedish citizenship.
