Can i apply for a visa to USA on Pakistan passport from Sweden?
I wanted to know that im here on a student visa which is for 10 months and expires on May 31st 2010. My father is doctor in USA and he has applied for my green card which is under process. He wants to me visit him for some time so i wanted to know can a person on Pakistani passport with his green card in process apply for a visit visa in USA from Sweden?? Is there any rule that prevents me in doing so. Waiting for ure replies.

There are no rules which prevent a non-US citizen to apply for a visa from any U.S. Embassy or Consulate on earth. However each visa applicant needs to provide proof that s/he does not intent to immigrate to the United States. A U.S. consular officer based in Sweden can determine the ties of a Swedish citizen to his/her country but s/he cannot determine the ties of a student to Pakistan and therefore will most likely refuse a visa issue..
