Cheapest way to be a foreign exchange student? ?

Cheapest way to be a foreign exchange student? ?
I really want to become a foreign exchange student for the 2011 school year but the big foreign exchange organizations are waaay too overpriced. What organization or group can I contact that wont charge more han 8000 dollars in extremities? And if you know anything about being one in Sweden or Norway that would be great.

I'm actually in an exchange program that runs through my school. I'm going to switzerland for 4 months in February. The one that goes through my school cost about $2500 + spending money. The best way to get involved is ask a guidance councilor (if you're still in high school), but if not, do a little more research. I find it really hard to believe that they are charging more than $5000 for this. Good luck :)
